Reduction of nitrogen oxides emissions on gas boiler at Scholven power station

For our customer, who supplied the gas boiler to the German Scholven Power Plant, we designed, manufactured, delivered and put into operation SCR.Included in the deliveries were a urea evaporation system using flue gas heat, a PLC, an AIG (Ammonia injection grid) injection system and also a 3.9m catalytic converter^{! 3}. The complete technology aimed to reduce NOx emissions below 60 mg/Nm^{! 3} and ammonia slip below 2mg/Nm^{! 3} and the boiler now meets the strictest emission limits imposed by legislation.
