Imission Monitoring & Evaluation

Measurement of emissions enables long-term monitoring and quantification of the real impact of emission sources (energy and industrial installations, buildings, etc.) on ambient air quality. Measured data can be used to identify possible sources of air pollution (e.g. dust and other emissions) or to more accurately assess the environmental impact of various installations in preparation for the EIA.

Measurement of immissions is carried out in predefined representative locations using ORGREZ measuring stations. We select suitable measurement sites based on the analysis of the meteorological conditions in the given locality and the assessment of dispersion conditions. This ensures that the measured data is representative and truly reflects the real state of air pollution in the locality.

We have been engaged in this activity for several decades and for our customers we provide not only supply and service, but also operation and evaluation of emissions. We operate our own vacuum monitoring network near the largest combustion sources, mainly conventional power plants. Our monitoring is authorized by the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic and can also be operated through the laboratory accredited by the CIA. The data obtained within the scope of our accreditation can be included in the national database of air quality information maintained by the authorized organization of the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic (ČHMÚ Prague).

We also measure the dustiness of working air outside buildings (including meteorological parameters), such as ash storage, energy and industrial plants. The results of measurements and their evaluation can be used to identify possible sources of dust in the operation and to design targeted procedures to reduce dust in the evaluated site. We also have a measuring machine.

In addition, we provide:

  • Ongoing evaluation and presentation of measured data of immissions.
  • Assessment of the magnitude of the effect of an emission source on the overall level of air pollution in a given area.
  • Processing of scattering studies according to model SYMOS'97 (authorized person).
  • Determination of the required chimney height for a new emission source in a given location (by an authorized person).
  • Determination of chemical aggressiveness and dustiness of the environment for sensitive equipment e.g. data-centers
