Transformer Oil Filtration & Oil Regeneration

Electro-insulating fluids used in transformers undergo various degradation processes over time. This results in the loss of the original properties that are necessary for proper electrical insulation function and cooling effect. For our customers, we perform filtration and regeneration, which allows the liquid to be recycled instead of replacing it.

Oil regeneration is a complex oil treatment aimed at restoring all the properties and parameters of transformer oil to the level of oil quality new. Our comprehensive services include both consulting and in-house implementation of services related to transformer maintenance, filtration and regeneration of transformer oils on a turnkey basis.

Complex maintenance of transformers includes:

revision of oil transformers without or with the removal of active parts from the vessel
hermetization of transformers by mounting a rubber bag in a canister
cleaning and surface treatment of transformers
comprehensive measurement of transformer insulation system including laboratory oil tests
revision of distribution transformers in transformer dungeons
revision and repair of control systems of power transformers
filtration and regeneration of the electrical insulation fluid simultaneously with the cleaning of the active parts of the transformers
scrapping transformers of all power and voltage

Oil regeneration by our equipment and technology allows the following properties to be achieved:

removal of solid impurities, reduction of water content, increase of electrical strength and degassing,
cleaning the active parts of the transformer from the remnants of spoiled oil,
reduction of tg... at 90 °C < 0,5%,
reduction of the acidity number... < 0,01 mg KOH/g,
increase in surface tension... > 50 mN/m,
oil doinhibition... 0,30 ± 0,05%.
