Project TH02020288 — Compact diagnostic system for non-dismountable diagnostics of VN electrical machines using direct current (DC) and low frequency test voltage

solved in the period 01/2017 to 12/2019
with the financial support of TA CR

The main objective of the project is the design and development of a prototype diagnostic system for non-disassembly diagnostics of VN electrical machines. The system allows monitoring and evaluating the level of partial discharges (CV) arising from DC and low frequency (<0.1 Hz) AC power supply in order to determine the current state of the insulation system of the winding of the VN machines. Part of the project is the design and development of sophisticated software for controlling the entire diagnostic system. The project envisages full certification of this prototype. An integral part of the system will also be the cartridge calibrator required for calibration of the entire measurement chain.
