Project TH02020288 – Compact diagnostic system for operating high voltage condition monitoring of electrical machines using DC and low-frequency AC test voltage

The primary objective of the project is to design and develop a prototype diagnostic system for non-invasive diagnostics of high-voltage electrical machines. The system will monitor and assess partial discharge (PD) levels occurring under direct current and low-frequency (<0.1 Hz) alternating current supply, with the aim of determining the current condition of insulation systems in high-voltage machine windings. The project also includes the design and development of advanced software to manage and operate the entire diagnostic system. The project envisages full certification of the developed prototype. An integral component of the system will also be a charge calibrator, essential for calibrating the entire measurement chain.
