Wastewater, Soil and Energy By-Products Analysis, Reporting & Certification

Industrial processes inevitably create waste material. The latter can become a useful and valuable commodity if it meets the required criteria and successfully passes the certification process into the product form. We help our customers in all stages from initial analysis of waste material to successful product certification including EPD exposure.

We perform analyses of waste materials mainly for wastewater, soils, construction wastes and energy by-products. However, we also analyze the buildings intended for demolition, in which we evaluate their environmental and health failure, or quantify the amount of individual materials for the preparation of the demolition project and its economic evaluation.

Waste material samples are collected by a certified Waste Sampling Manager certified sampler and forwarded to our own accredited testing laboratory for analysis. The entire process is recorded in the Internet application, where our customers can track all the data and the related documentation is stored there. The results can be evaluated using the application according to different regulations or the values of the analyzes are compared with other samples.

For samples evaluated in this way, since 1998 we have been providing certification and declaration of conformity as a construction product according to Act 22/1997 Coll. and we also provide the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), which is mandatory for building materials from 1.1.2025.

For specific chemicals, we help our customers document activities provided under pre-registration, registration of chemicals under Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 REACH, keep up-to-date information in the ECHA system, representation in individual SIEF and chemical consortia. For manufacturers, we also process a substance identity profile (SIP), according to which we further monitor substances.

For successful marketing of products, we ensure that the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is obtained. The purpose of the Declaration (EPD) is to provide a tool for objectively comparing products according to their environmental performance, and through this information to promote the demand and supply of more environmentally friendly products and services.

Securing the Environmental Declaration includes:

  • data and information collection, LCA and EPD processing,
  • definition of the objectives and scope of the study, development of scenarios for information modules,
  • inventory analysis, indicator calculations,
  • LCA report, EPD draft of the product in question,
  • creation of a critical review of the LCA+SPD,
  • validation (verification), methodology check, data validation, verification report,
  • document on verification, approval by the national operator of the Czech Republic (CENIA),
  • final verified EPD
